A Place of Healing

"My mom had to go to a facility after her stroke and her friend recommended Stonehenge. I was a little uncertain at first, but I would say the experience overall was very good. I think all rehab/care facilities have a very hard job to do because their patients require a great deal of care and the staff must be underpaid, but regardless, this facility did well. The staff was friendly, proactive in many ways, and overall very helpful. The bed was uncomfortable for my mother, but they did offer to find a better fit for her. She didn't have to stay very long (she was lucky and able to recover better than expected), so we didn't bother with a different bed. Food was good and they offer snacks if needed. The activities were the best part in many ways. She loved participating in some social events there. I would recommend this place, but, since I don't have a lot of experience with places like this, my opinion is limited. Still, I am very happy that she had a good experience overall, especially since choosing a place was an unanticipated need."
